In the Windows 8 Enterprise edition, you can use the Windows to Go feature to travel with Windows 8 OS, personal files, documents, settings and many more. All you need is an external hard drive or USB drive of 32 GB space or more and USB 3.0 support or more for fast Windows 8 booting.

We need the storage media of above specification to create bootable USB to access the data anytime by plugging the media into different PC running latest version of Windows 8 PRO or Windows 7.

At first, you should keep the following things ready:

• Windows automated installation kit (WAIT)
• USB 3.0
• Microsoft Certified Windows 8 compatible USB or external hard drive of 32 GB or more capacity.
• Windows 8 Enterprise sysprep generalized .WIM file Image

Step 1:

In your host machine (that is Windows 8 enterprise), connect the USB media to the system and set the authorized location for .WIM file image to be accessed by the user, either administrator or guest.

Step 2:

Tap Windows button + W and type 'Windows to Go' and press enter. Confirm the action and you'll be directed to Windows to Go creator wizard.

Step 3:

Choose the drive of your choice and is recommended already in previous part. In the next window, entitled 'Choose Windows 8 Image', you need to choose the .WIM image file which we've created previously.

 Note You need to SKIP the very next page to avoid encrypting the USB, at least for the time being.

Step 4:

Click on 'Create' and after few minutes (30 min or more, depends on the size of files you choose), your Windows to Go USB will be ready to use.

Unplug USB device and reboot your system to use Windows to Go workplace.

Note Please make sure that USB media is at the top in the BIOS.

One of the most played-up features of Windows 8 is that it's so much fasterthan previous versions. So fast, in fact, that Microsoft had to change the way that users access the BIOS because 200 milliseconds just isn't enough time to hit the right key. It may take some getting used to, but it's probably a welcome change for most people, considering that the "right" key is different depending on what type of computer you're running the OS on.

Instead, in Windows 8, the BIOS is accessed through the Settings tab on the home screen. The new and improved boot menu also lets you boot from different devices, into a different operating system, or mess around with settings like you've always done.

How to Open the Boot Menu

To get into the BIOS, open Settings, then select General. Under Advanced Startup, click on Restart Now. This will restart your computer into the boot menu.

Then,

 Once you're in the boot menu, to open the BIOS, click on the Troubleshooticon. This will open a screen called Advanced Settings, where you can selectUEFI Firmware Settings, which will open the BIOS.

Step 2: Type .LOG into Notepad (.LOG must be in capital letters and also at the very beginning / first line)

Step 3: Save this file by Save option in the File menu

Step 4: Close Notepad

Step 5: Open the saved file. Notepad automatically inserts current date and time after last line.

Step 6: You can type your data there for that time and date and save the file again.

Note : If you put a space before (.LOG) then this trick won't work.

Whenever you open this file, Notepad automatically inserts system date and time after last line.

How To Make Nameless Folder

1. Make a Newfolder on desktop or where ever you want.
2. Right click on this newly created folder and select Rename.
3. Erase the text showing "New Folder".

Some memory cards and USB pen drives have write protection switches, which allows you to prevent files from being deleted, or any new files being written to the device. It also prevents the drive or card from being formatted.

Here are a couple of methods you can try to format the drive and remove the write protection. Bear in mind that there is no guarantee that they will work for you: your drive or memorycard may be corrupt or broken and no utility or low-level formatting tool will make it work again. The only solution in this case is to buy a new drive.

Follow step below for solution: 

1. Click Start then Type: regedit

2. Navigate to the following key:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

3. Double-click on the WriteProtect value in the right-hand pane of Regedit.exe
4. Change the Value data from 1 to 0 and click OK to save the change.
5. Close Regedit and restart your computer.
6. Connect your USB drive again, and you should find it is no longer write protected.

Now, you can now format the drive as normal by right-clicking on it in My Computer and choosing Format.

* If you can’t find StorageDevicePolicies, follow this steps:

1. Creating a key by right-clicking in the white space in the Control folder and choosing New ->    Key
2. Double-click on the new key (folder) and right-click once again and choose New -> DWORD
3. Name it "WriteProtect" and set its value to 0
4.  Click OK, exit Regedit and reboot your computer.

I. Does your device support iOS 7?

Also, certain features of iOS may not be available on all devices. For instance, the iPhone 4S doesn't support features like AirDrop and live filters in the camera app. The iPad 3 also doesn't support AirDrop.

II. Backing up your device
If you don't regularly backup the data on your iPhone or iPad, now is a good time. You'd like your favorite apps and settings to transition to iOS 7 and for that you'll need to take a backup.


How to installed iOS 7.1 over-the-air

Tap on Settings from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.

Tap on General.

Towards the top, tap on Software Update.

Your iPhone or iPad should now check for new software and find that iOS 7 is now available.

Tap on the Download and Install option towards the bottom. You need to be on WiFi in order to download the update or this option will be grayed out.

Wait for your iPhone or iPad download iOS 7.1. This can take some time depending on your internet connection speed.

Tap on Install to to begin the installation procedure. 

Note:  Once the install is finished your iPhone or iPad will reboot and you'll have to sign back in. Now your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is installed successfully!

If you want to install the update through your PC or Mac instead, connect your device to the computer and wait for iTunes to open or fire it up manually. You'd typically get a software update prompt but if you don't just go to the device Summary page by clicking on the name of your iOS device, and click on the 'Check for Update' button, and click on Download and Update as below

Your iPhone would restart and display an Apple logo with the progress bar while it updates and iTunes will also display the status of the installation.
